Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣體育大學(桃園) === 教練研究所 === 96 === Due to keen competition of Taekwondo sport, the velocity of continuous kicking is most important factor to get an advantageous position during Taekwondo contest. High H/Q ration has been developed to enhance successive movement performance. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between velocity of 5 continuous roundhouse kick and H/Q ration on Taekwondo athletes. Fourteen male Taekwondo athletes were recruited to be the subjects. Biodex, System III three-dimensional accelerometer, whole body reaction system, and high speed video camera were used to measure H/Q ration (180°/sec,300 °/sec,330°/sec,360°/sec) and knee and ankle velocity of 5 continuous roundhouse kick. The data were calculated by EVaRT43 software. The relationship between velocity of 5 continuous roundhouse kick and H/Q ration was analyzed by Pearson product-moment correlation. Significance level was set on P<.05. The result indicated that there was significant relationship between the ankle velocity of 5 continuous roundhouse kick and H/Q ration of 330°/sec, 360°/sec angular velocity. The result also revealed that the H/Q ration of Taekwondo athletes was lower (0.46 to 0.49) than other sport athletes because antagonist was less using on roundhouse kicking performance during practice. The results of this study strongly suggest that to enhance H/Q ration of Taekwondo athletes is an essential tactic for preventing injuries such as anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury.
