碩士 === 國立暨南國際大學 === 教育政策與行政學系 === 96 === The main purpose of this study was to explore the relationship between principals’ leadership behavior and school organization execution for elementary schools in Nantou County. The study made use of a self-compiled questionnaire survey named ”The questionnaire of principals’ leadership behavior and school organization execution for elementary schools in Nantou County”. This questionnaire was designed to aim at the teacher of 99 public elementary schools in Nantou County. Based on the 619 effective questionnaires returned. 6 teachers were selected for further interviews. The data of questionnaire have been proceeded for statistical analysis with descriptive analysis, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson’s product-moment correlation and reliability analysis. The main conclusions list as following: 1. The degree of the principals’ leadership behavior by elementary school teachers in Nantou County were at upper middle levels. 2. The degree of the school organization execution by elementary school teachers in Nantou County were at middle-low levels. 3. The elementary school teachers in Nantou County showed obvious difference in the principals’ leadership behavior, because the different serving years, and scale of the school. 4. The elementary school teachers in Nantou County showed obvious difference in the school organization execution, because the different genders, ages, and serving years. 5. The principals’ leadership behavior was related to the school organization execution obviously. Based on the study results, some suggestions were proposed for the reference of educational administration authorities, principals of elementary schools, and for the further advanced studies.
