These two designs make the cost of source driver reduce in a big amount. The method is that we use the low-voltage process for the last stage of digital circuits and the DA-converter stage to save the area of DA-converter switches and reduce power consumption. The fifth order series RC chains of 20kΩ/20pf are used as the loads of LCD outputs. The experimental results have showed that the settling time of full swing voltage can be smaller than 10μs, and it is exactly suitable for the UXGA applications.
