Traditional sugar painting is made by the expert or molds. This study tries to transfer information of binary image to NC code and discuss the effect on painting between different viscous glucose crystals through three-axis fluid dispensing machine which moving range is 300 mm *240 mm *210mm. It integrations both software and hardware to operate accordingly. In software, it transfers the information of binary image to NC code to move the location of the dispensing valve on three-axis machine along zig-zag path in each layer. Measure delay time TD from signals sent from the computer to glucose crystals dropped on the plate and the relation between drop size and stagnation time TS as drop on demand. Results show that the size of glucose crystals decreases when the viscosity increases from 88,000cp to 433,000cp at drop-on-demand condition. The width of glucose crystals becomes narrow when the viscosity increases from 88,000cp to 433,000cp or the traversing velocity increases at dispensing condition. The optimal parameters from experiment are obtained so that as the software inputs parameters by experiment, the good painting result is made through the comparison with the image information.
