In Taiwan, to make notice of industrial heritage is began at 1997, the artist labored for the old Taipei distillery and state operated transfer the droit. After 1998, council for cultural affairs further the reuse of deserted space and investigation project and propaganda, but reuse project in Taiwan are always as art exhibit or single function, and the management strategies cannot continuity . Reuse as commercial function is a new kind of strategies, there are many successful example in occident. Commercial function not only can fit in people’s life but also reduce the burden of government, compassable continuity. After reviewing the case of foreign and domestic industrial heritage about industrial archaeology and development. The preservation and reuse problems on industrial heritage were discussed. According to forging industrial heritage which reuse as commercial function summed up as a key factor to make the analysis structure. From large to small into topics. 1. Urban and area issues 2.Industrial heritage building and space issues. 3. Management issues. Urban issues is to probe into the transport system advantages and the laws and decrees; Building and space issues is to analyzed the removal and preservation choice and building addition to adapt; Management issues must have an appropriate administion. Stressed that the cultural values of industrial heritage and commercial function can be mutually symbiosis. Finally, choose Taiwan’s old distillery as operational targets, according to the above-mentioned key factor for the feasibility analysis to prove that there are not only single function can be reused on Taiwan’s industrial heritage
