Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 材料科學及工程學系碩博士班 === 96 === This paper studies the effect of graphitization treatment on mechanical and tribological properties of Carbon/Carbon composites by changing the graphitization temperature. The main purpose is to find the best intermediate graphitization temperature to fabricate the brake pad which is more economical. The experimental results showed, for the materials of PAN/resin C/C composites, the higher graphitization treatment temperature caused the higher variation of density, porosity, thickness and weight. The porosity of the intermediate graphitized specimen was higher than the specimen T1℃ and T2℃. After the densification process, the densification efficiency of the specimen T3℃ is better than the other specimens, so the finally porosity is the lowest and the density is the highest;for the mechanical property, the specimen T3℃ is also the best. In the view of the tribology performance, the friction and wear properties of specimen T2℃ was better and more stable than the other. However, the friction coefficient of specimen T3℃ was medium and the wear rate was highest, that is because the specimen T3℃ didn’t experienced the finally graphitization treatment. Finally, synthesis comparised all specimens properties, the best graphitization temperature is T2℃.
