Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 水利及海洋工程學系碩博士班 === 96 === In this study, the problem of waves passing two consecutive submerged poro-elastic structures is solved analytically. The solution methodology is a direct extension from Lan and Lee (1999) solving for a single submerged poro-elastic structure. Following the solution procedures, the problem domain is divided into seven regions, for which the solution forms can be presented. By using the matching boundary conditions, namely, kinematic and dynamic conditions, together with orthogonal characteristics, a set of simultaneous equations can be set up and solved consequently. The present analytic solutions are compared with Ou et al.(2004) for two consecutive impermeable rigid submerged structures, and with Ting et al.(2002) for two rigid and porous submerged structures. The comparisons are in favorably good agreements. Using the present analytic solution, effects of permeability, dimension, and elasticity of the submerged structures on wave properties are discussed. It can be concluded that for softer structures, the reflection coefficients are bigger than the rigid ones, and consequently the transmissions are smaller. And the softer structures have bigger energy damping than the rigid ones.
