Summary: | 碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 土木工程學系碩博士班 === 96 === The available literature of the fire resistance test of reinforced concrete structure is mostly based on the tests performed by the smaller scale specimens or single component. As for the tests of full scale beam-column sub-assemblage under elevated temperature, it is very rare. This research aims at the deformation and strength of reinforced concrete beam-column sub-assemblage during and after the elevated temperature test. In the experiment all study, tests with full scale beam-column sub-assemblage were conducted. In the analytical study, the ANSYS software was used to predict the inner temperature distribution and deformation of beam-column sub-assemblage under elevated temperature. The results of prediction were compared with those from the experiments. The primary results are summarized as follows:
1. The temperature increase was delayed as the inner temperature of specimen increased up to about 100℃. This is because of the heating of inner free water of reinforced concrete, which induced the phase change of water.
2. The deflection of beam increased significantly when the beam-column sub-assemblage was subjected to the elevated temperature test for 30 minutes. The deflections of △1, △m, and △2 are 345 %, 249 %, and 297 % , respectively of those before the elevated temperature test.
3. Under the service load, the deflection of △1, △m, and △2 of beam subjected to elevated temperature test for 104 minutes are almost 1.77, 1.59, and 1.59 times of those before the elevated temperature test, respectively.
4. On the test of residual strength, the failure load of NC3 specimen after being subjected to elevated temperature test for 104 minutes is 77% of that in the room temperature.
