Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中興大學 === 森林學系所 === 96 === The purpose of this study was to discuss forest resources and stand structure by using aerial photography interpretation and analyzing ground sample plots data in Hsin-Hua Forest Experiment, NCHU. Accordance different stand structure and forest type we could estimate stand volume, and using FORMOSAT-II imagery analysis to calculate NDVI value. The summary of obtained result is as follows: There were 31 kinds of landuse types in Hsin-Hua Forest Experiment through aerial photography interpretation. In pure forest, the volume of Swietenia macrophyllas stand was 193.45 m3/ ha which was higher than other stands. And in mixed forest, the highest volume was 163.40m3/ha by Swietenia macrophylla- Dimocarpus longan mixed stand. The curve of diameter distribution was showed J shape in Swietenia macrophylla pure stand and Dimocarpus longan pure stand. We used maximum likelihood method and percentile estimator method to analysis stand structure. Kolmogorov-Smironv test was used to examine the goodness of fit for two methods. The result showed that percentile estimator method was better than maximum likelihood method. Finally, through FORMOSAT-II imagery analysis of Swietenia macrophylla pure stand, we could calculate NDVI value in different seasons. The NDVI value in summer was highest than other seasons. Besides, the NDVI value was significantly different in different volume classes, but the R2 was only 0.127. It showed that using NDVI value was difficult to estimation stand volume. That volume might be effect by age, tree type and habitat factor. The results will provide detailed information for forest experiment management.
