Summary:碩士 === 國立中興大學 === 物理學系所 === 96 === In this thesis we describe the fabrications of bio-molecule sensors based on Au nanoparticles. The Au nanoparticles are deposited on silicon substrates to form assemblies between pre-made interdigit electrodes, which are patterned by electron beam lithography. The nanoparticle assembly is capable of binding target bio-molecules by surface modifications of specific receptors. Since the binding would affect the charge conduction through the assembly one may detect specific bio-molecules by monitoring the resistance change of the device.
