It consists of measuring and compensating the mechanical kinematic errors. Another topic of this thesis is monitoring heat rising of the high speed spindle. From the spindle running test、we find the most sensitive location of the high speed spindle to heat rising. The experimental result show that the front bearing of spindle with the most sensitive to heat rising、and the other portion of spindle their heat rising could be depressed under 2℃ by a cooling cycle system. In the mechanical kinematic error compensation research of dual axis rotary mechanism、a coordinate measuring machine and a dual axis laser autocollimator are used to measure the mechanical kinematic errors. We employ the homogeneous transformation matrix as a tool to compensate and constitute the mechanical kinematic errors model. We use a high precision coordinate measuring machine to verify the positioning errors of this dual axis rotary mechanism after compensation.
