Summary: | 碩士 === 明志科技大學 === 工業管理研究所 === 96 === Information presentation on the screen mainly offers the interface for message communication in the process of human-computer interaction. Well information position on the display can reduce the operation time for users, and also can present data more complete. The main purpose of this study is to explore the relationship between information forms and presenting positions, by using the shopping websites as a research topic. In this study, the homepages from three well-known shopping websites for Taiwanese consumers were selected. Moreover, the data of eye-gaze time, frequency, and positions form the subjects were collected by eye-tracking system, in order to find out the best presenting location on the screen. The result indicate that the best display position for information is center left and center squares, where the subjects spent more time on them. However, when the display data was located in lower left and lower right squares, the gazing time was less. Furthermore, the research provides the connection among the best display position, information presenting ways, and the users’ interest.
