In the digital learning, cooperative learning is often used and also a popular theme in the recent research. In the process of cooperative learning, interaction among learners is emphasized in achieving the goals of interchange and creation of knowledge so the quality of the interaction and communication in the learning process has a great impact on the final learning outcome. Thus, it is important to promote interaction among learners to improve learning outcomes.
The purpose of the study is to apply and integrate hardware, software and network service to build an environment, digital network classroom, for interactive and digital learning, through teaching activities. The study also explores the impacts of the mechanism among interactive groups and the innovation of information technology on the learning outcomes. It is expected that the innovation of information technology helps enhance the students’ learning outcomes. It is also expected that students will change from passive learners to active learners to improve the interactions between teachers and students through the highly functional “Digital Network classroom”.
The study cooperates with “Discrete Math” in the Department of “Computer science”, asking students to fill out the questionnaires of “Digital Network classroom” before and after they use the room. Through Statistic software, data analysis and explanations, the study explores the relationship among student’s personal and inter-group interactions and learning outcome to conclude the results and find out some interesting phenomena.
