In recent years, children abuse, abandonment and other incidents have heard more often, the orphanage shoulders the important task of adopting the children from broken family. However, the orphanage has a problem of low salaries, work under pressure and high turnover rate for a long time, the service providers must have great love, patience and perseverance. Public service motivation (PSM) will influence job involvement, and successful leaders can enhance staff job involvement, leading organizations achieve their goals. The service providers of orphanage were selected for this study. This study intended to investigate the effects of public service motivation and transformational leadership on job involvement. Some suggestions were made for management in this field according to the study results. This study used questionnaires to survey the current staff of 46 orphanages legally registered in our country. A total number of 280 questionnaires were sent and 193 were effective. This study carried out the real statistical analysis through descriptive statistics analysis, reliability analysis, independent samples T-test, and regression analysis. The results of the survey are as follows: 1. PSM, as well as its sub-dimensions of compassion, self-sacrifice, and attraction to public policy, have significantly positive effects on job involvement. 2. Transformational leadership, as well as its sub-dimensions of intellectual stimulation, has a significantly positive effect on job involvement.
