The satisfaction of customers is mainly determined by the hotels’ service; hence, the service quality is emphasized by the industry. Also, different Personality Trait may result in different working performances. Moreover, how to make the most profit out of limited cost is the corporation should pay attention to-it could be achieved by planning perfect working process, or employees broadening their responsibility to a higher level, that is Organizational Citizenship Behavior(OCB)(Morrison,1994). The purpose of this study is to examine if the Locus of Control (LOC) of the employees in tourist hotels have any effect on their OCB, with Role Definitions (RD) as a moderator. This research aims at three tourist hotels in Taichung to acquire the information about LOC, RD, and OCB. 600 questionnaires is distributed and 484 are valid ones; the data is analyzed by using Independent Sample T-test, and Regression. The results of the study are shown as below: 1、Identification with Company of RD is a mediator between LOC and OCB. As to the dimensions of OCB, this study also finds that Identification with Company of RD is a mediator between “Identification with Company”, ”Conscientiousness”, ”Protecting Company Resource” and LOC. 2、Altruism Toward Colleagues of RD is a mediator between LOC and OCB. As to the dimensions of OCB, this study also finds that Altruism Toward Colleagues of RD is a mediator between “Identification with Company”,”Altruism Toward Colleagues”, ”Conscientiousness”, ”Protecting Company Resource” and LOC. 3、Conscientiousness of RD is a mediator between LOC and OCB. As to the dimensions of OCB, this study also finds that Conscientiousness of RD is a mediator between “Identification with Company”, ”Conscientiousness” and LOC. 4、Interpersonal Harmony of RD is a mediator between LOC and OCB. As to the dimensions of OCB, this study also finds that Interpersonal Harmony of RD is a mediator between “Interpersonal Harmony”, ”Protecting Company Resource” and LOC. 5、Protecting Company Resource of RD is a mediator between LOC and OCB. As to the dimensions of OCB, this study also finds that Protecting Company Resource of RD is a mediator between”Protecting Company Resource” and LOC.
