Now they have to convert the mindset in time to face rival challenge. The project managers, who stand in the forefront and face the clients, have to endure tremendous work pressure. They not only take challenges from outside of the company but also deal with complain and revile from the clients of their own business. Furthermore, due to the rapid change of communication technology, the project managers must update their professional knowledge. Their pressure is sensible. This research works with the project managers in Taiwan area. It focuses on the study of the connection of a project manager’s personality, work pressure and transference. It takes a total sample of 681 project managers by the network questionnaire. And the valid ones are for 320. The survey tools which are designed by the author are “The Project Manager Pressure Table”, “The Project Manager Adjust to Transfer Table”, and “The Personality Attribute Table.” The data runs analysis with the SPSS 12.0 statistics software after testing. It adopts a credit analysis, describing statistics, T- test, the one-way ANOVA analysis, Pearson Correlations analysis … etc. The summary of this research statistical analysis is as follows: 1. Different personal background attributes, such as “gender”, ”education”, “original background”, “service attribute”, partially have an obvious discrepancy in the Personality Attribute. But different “age”, “the service seniority”, and “title” will influence the performance of the Personality Attribute. 2. Different personal background attributes, such as “marriage”, “title”, “the service attribute” have little corelation with Work Pressure. The attributes “gender”, “education” and “original background” partially have an obvious corelation. However, “the service seniority” has an obvious corelation with the work pressure. 3. Different personal background attributes, such as “gender”, “marriage”, “original background”, “title” and “the service attribute” have little correlation with Transference to a new post. However, the attributes “age’, “education” and “the service seniority” have an obvious correlation with transference to a new post. 4. The three factors of work pressure, “work”, “personal factor” and “problems in the organization of the business” present the positive correlation with the transference. And “the problems in the organization of the business” is the main factor that causes the pressure. 5. Different personality attribute has an obvious discrepancy from the adjust to transference. A “nervous” project manager presents the positive correlation with the transference. And it presents a negative correlation with “outgoing type”, “easy-going type”, and “experience-open type.” 6. A project manager’s three personality attributes, “outgoing type”, “easy-going type”, and “experience-open type”, presents a negative correlation with the three factors of work pressure, “work”, “personal factor” and “ problems in the organization of the business.” But the “nervous” factor presents a positive correlation with the work pressure. Yet, “problems in the organization of the business” is the most obvious. This research concludes that an outgoing, easy- going and experience- open person is more suitable to hold the post of a project manager. The factor “work” itself causes the work pressure the most. And the work pressure has an obvious and positive correlation with transference to a new post.
