Description
Summary:碩士 === 銘傳大學 === 資訊管理學系碩士在職專班 === 96 === When implementing and developing information systems, the enterprises will proceed with theses systems through projects mostly. Therefore, that whether an information system will be successfully implemented or not is closely related to the extent of project performance. In some literature that has reviewed on the factors which affect project success, some factors have been listed as factors in project success, such as specific project goal, support from higher level superintendents, communication skill, customer acceptance, project manager’s leadership behavior, etc. Besides, some literature has also shown that the higher the extent of knowledge integration is, the higher the project performance will be. In this study, related literature has been collected and analyzed. According to Situational Leadership Theory (SLT) proposed by Hersey and Blanchard, project manager’s leadership styles have been classified into four types: Telling, Persuading, Participating, and Delegating. Here, software project types have been classified into three types: Planning type, Development type, and Maintenance type. Meanwhile, some dimensions such as knowledge integration and project complexity have also been added, to explore the influence exerted by knowledge integration and project manager’s leadership style on project performance, project manager of software was the subject. Empirical data had been collected through questionnaires, and research hypothesis have also been verified by means of statistical analysis. The results in this study have shown: in Planning type of software project, higher project performance will be achieved by using Persuading and Participating leadership styles; in Development type of software project, higher project performance will be achieved by using Telling and Persuading leadership styles. The results have shown that there are positive relationship between knowledge integration and the project performance; and the more the project complexity is the higher positive influence of knowledge integration on project performance.
