碩士 === 立德大學 === 地區發展管理研究所 === 96 === In recent years, faced with the challenge of the globalization trend and the concern of the local culture and development, the temple cultural activity has engaged to the attention of the Taiwan culture policy. Luerhmen Tian-Ho Temple held a series of cultural events in 1993 to arise the concern of the traditional custom ceremony. Consequently, by associating with the local culture, the temple cultural festival has become a long-term, comprehensive, and continuous social convention. In that case, the research takes this as an research object, and analyzed the relations and the influence in between the temple cultural festival and the local cultural development. Based on the local cultural theory, this research firstly defines the structure of local cultural development analysis. Field investigation, interview, observation, and data classification are used to dissect the relationship between the temple cultural festival, the contents of local culture, and the cultural revitalization scale. To sum up, the cultural festival indeed preserves its specific significance and characteristics, and also successfully builds a cultural atmosphere of special occasions. Hence, it is no doubt the motivity of dvancing and promoting local culture development. By adding some elements to different subjects of different cultural styles, the cultural festival arises a visible and an intangible value to local culture development. In the final part of this research, strengthening the characteristics of historic culture, revitalizing the public memory space, expanding the multicultural functions of local cultural buildings, and broadening the horizons of international views are proposed for the reference of hanging over the cultural festival and the local culture development.
