碩士 === 嶺東科技大學 === 視覺傳達設計研究所 === 96 === In January, 2006, in the activity titled “Looking for Taiwan Image” sponsored by the Executive Yuan, Bu Tai show, a Taiwanese folk art, got 130,000 votes, winning the champion title In 2008, the Industry Bureau of the Ministry of Economics helped traditional industries upgraded via“the developing plan of renewing the shapes of local feature culture.”By this, the bureau used five representative Bu-Tai shows chosen by the activity called“Show Taiwan! Looking for Taiwan Images”sponsored by Information Bureau under the Executive Yuan to develop the products of the three-dimension standing puppet models. Through the creativity, the local feature culture can be more known by the international community. Bu Tai Show was once one of Taiwanese three traditional puppet shows. With more than one hundred years passing, Bu-Tai shows lost its luster. However, via the combination of multi-cultural creativity, production, and show media, it has appealed to the young generation. In addition, Pi Li Bu-Tai show has changed into global large-scale cultural industry. Despite the decay of other puppet shows, Pi-Li Bu Tai show, a local traditional culture, has become the first domestic industrial show business group. In diverse age backgrounds, via various fashion elements, cultural generative features, it braces for great change. For example, employing the fashion colors and shapes of the puppets’costumes, it creates new shapes. Besides, in the different cultural industry structures, show styles, and business types, it continues the creative spirit of the Huangs. It gets rid of specific dynasty backgrounds, shifting the fashion trends. In addition to the traditional images, the roles’shapes and characters are unique and serve its business interests. Scripts and stages are multiple and flexible. And the costumes are exaggerated and cool, so the shapes are delicate and artistically unique. For these reasons, the Bu Tai show is so showy and colorful when presented in the screen. Indeed, the multiple creative components have successfully pushed the show upon the international stage.
