Description
Summary:碩士 === 嶺東科技大學 === 經營管理研究所 === 96 === Abstract Impact of speedy technology innovation, shortened product life cycle and globalization, enterprises should adapt to the ever-changing and competitive environment by powerful information system rather than traditional information system to improve company's performance. In order to integrate information and resources, enterprises adopts enterprises resource planning (ERP) information system to provide relevant important information, such as finance, manpower, production, purchasing, selling, research and development to respond market demand and customer satisfaction. Most studies focused on key success factors when introducing ERP system into big company. Due to lack of related researches on time-relevant impact of the ERP system on business performance, this research especially utilizes the objective financial materials of the sample company to analyze longitudinal impact of the ERP system on business performance. As compared to two case studies with deep-interview and three listed companies with questionnaires, the convergent results show ERP that system indeed provides more immediate financial information, improves enterprise's standard procedure setup, reduces repeated data input and inquires, enhances information openness, and shortens the financial check-out time.
