Over the years, the amounts of investment from Taiwan investing in East China and South China are more than 80%. The phenomenon reveals that the main investment areas for Taiwanese businessmen is located in East China and South China The purpose of this study is to analyze the investment condition of Taiwanese businessmen in China and assess the variation on the combined financial report between the parent company and its subsidiary by view of industry clustering. In addition, we also compare the effect of different industry clustering on the financial performance of the parent company in Taiwan. Because there is heterroscedasticity among different companies, this study applies ordinary least squares (OLS) to examine our data in addition to use White (1980) heteroscedasticity consistent estimator to adjust the standard deviation of estimator to raise the consistency and efficiency of hypotheses. The results show that after Taiwanese businessmen investing in Mainland China, the location, investment industry, average investment period, average shareholding, the capital stock of parent company, overseas investment amount, overseas average investment rate (the investment rate of parent company to related industry) which will influence the financial performance of companies are the elements with affect the oversea achievement of a company’s business report, especially the electronic industry. However, it is an inverse ratio with the investing years and the financial achievement of the clustering companies is higher than other companies in other places. The Mainland China carries out many financial and economic systems since 2008. Among them, the Enterprise Income Tax Law does have significant effects on the tax or labor cost for Taiwanese businessmen. We hope the empirical results can provide references for Taiwanese businessmen to invest in China or globalization. Shu-Mei 姜淑美 學位論文 ; thesis 42 zh-TW |

Over the years, the amounts of investment from Taiwan investing in East China and South China are more than 80%. The phenomenon reveals that the main investment areas for Taiwanese businessmen is located in East China and South China
The purpose of this study is to analyze the investment condition of Taiwanese businessmen in China and assess the variation on the combined financial report between the parent company and its subsidiary by view of industry clustering.
