Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄應用科技大學 === 觀光與餐旅管理研究所 === 96 === The purpose of this study was to investigate the type of leisure participation, perceived involvement, depression and life quality of arts activity participant in Kaohsiung city. Furthermore, this study tested the relationship among the type of leisure participation, perceived involvement, depression and life quality of arts activity participants. The study used questionnaires, including five major parts such as demographic information, the participation of arts activity, involvement, quality of life, and depression. The subjects were the arts activity participants at Culture center and other three similar places in Kaohsiung city. Finally, 308 questionnaires were vailed for statistical analysis. The data analysis methods included descriptive statictics, reliability analysis, factor analysis, independent sample t-test, one way ANOVA, Chi-square test, correlation analysis,and multiple regression analysis. The results showed that some of the demographic variable such as age, living place, marriage condition, family condition, occupation and income were significantly related to the type of leisure participation. Age, the volunteer of arts activity, family condition, and occupation were significantly related to involvement. Family condition was significantly related to depression. The volunteer of arts activity, marriage condition, family condition, and income were significantly related to quality of life. The type of leisure participation had partly relationship with quality of life.Involvement had positive relationship with quality of life. Depression had negative relationship with quality of life.Multiple regression showed that the quality of life could be predicted by the type of leisure participation, and involvement.The findings will provided with the organizatios, practitioners, in public or private organizations or those who concern arts activities useful information.
