It can combine coil winding with stator on the same assemble, and reduce the step of fabricate. This method is specially suitable for customized micro motors of small capacity. The motors of various diameters and lengths can be easily manufactured with high accuracy and low cost.
The micro permanent-magnet brushless motor has an outside diameter of 7 mm and a length of 10 mm. Its permanent magnet rotor has an outside diameter of 5 mm and a length of 8 mm. The motor uses two Flexible-coil and magnetism housing stator. First type Flexible-coil is Flexible Printed Circuit(FPC). Its winding is eight coils, line width of 100μm, line space of 200μm, copper thickness of 35μm, input current is 0.8A, the motor achieves a maximum torsion is 84.4μN-m.
To use Semiconductor Thick Film Process and electroform technology make three group coil winding structure, and then apply Flexible Substrate to cover it to become Flexible-coil, Then roll up the Flexible-coil and electroform to make its magnetism housing. The using of high precision keramic bearing and spindle to reduce fabricate error. Further more to use open loop controller to drive the motor, then test E-W and .T-I curve. The motor achieves a maximum speed of 2,000RPM. The revolve test of motor is successfully complete.
