Summary: | 碩士 === 國立高雄應用科技大學 === 土木工程與防災科技研究所 === 96 === To enhance the quality of public construction, the PCC of Executive Yuan started to promote quality-related policies and systems in 1993, but the practitioners still have many different views. In view of this, this study in the construction business’ point of view, discuss the current system of project checking and the system on the effectiveness of public work. This study aims to understand the problems of status of projects checking.
The survey through the way of questionnaire.300 questionnaires were distributed .There are 128 valid questionnaires and draw the following conclusions via statistical analysis:
1. Most of the construction industry workers are agree that project checking is beneficial to the nation-building, engineering quality and the development of construction industry .But there are some problems .Such as increasing the costs of project and delay the progress.
2. Most of the construction industry workers think that “project that below 50 million Yuan does not apply to the current project-checking system”. Therefore, I proposed that it must be consistent with the grading scale of project to set different standards of checking.
3. When Current checking system have different attitude to the check results and missing views, there is no any complain channels. Therefore, construction workers extremely agree that checking-unit should create complain channels.
4. There are about 24.8 percent engineering staff do not agree with that current project-checking system can assess of the quality of good and worse. Another 40 percent of the people disagree that check members can assess the check results with an objective attitude .Therefore, I suggest that project-checking units should considerate the above two problems carefully and propose some effective methods.
