The current development of the renewable energy resource, such as solar energy, wind power, biomass energy, hydro-electricity, and so on, is different from the traditional energy resources. The inexhaustible source of renewable energy is from the nature; therefore, any countries around the world could make a good use of renewable energy. Taiwan sits on the great geographical position and holds the potential for the development of renewable energy like solar energy. The school education is a long-range program. Concerning the apply teaching of solar energy is mostly arranged to energy education curriculum. In fact, the range of energy education is very widespread, can't do a thorough research to particular topic. This study focuses on planning and designing teaching activities which bring the notions of the solar energy education to teens. The article first defines the notions of the solar energy education, and then applies e-learning methods with aids of multimedia to illustrate what the solar energy education is all about. In the meantime, only a few teachers are capable of instructing renewable energy education in different school levels. How to train the energy education teachers is actually urgent. This study attempts to make use of e-learning and multimedia skills to expand the teaching of the solar energy application. With the aids of internet e-learning and the multimedia teaching methods provide students to the practice the solar energy related applications with the multimedia creations. Follow the learning by doing to comprehend the application and related knowledge of the solar energy.
