This three-phase hybrid power converter includes an isolated or non-isolated DC/DC power converter、a DC/AC inverter and a battery set. Under normal utility condition, this three-phase hybrid power converter generates a sinusoidal current whose power factor approaches to unity, and the output current of this three-phase power converter is injecting into the utility. On the other hand, this three-phase power converter supplies a constant frequency constant voltage power to the critical loads when the utility fails.Thus, this three-phase hybrid power converter has the function of grid-connected power converter and stand-alone power converter. A prototype based on digital signal processing (DSP) controller is implemented and tested to verify the performance of this three-phase hybrid power converter. The experimental results show that the performance of this three-phase hybrid power converter is as expected.
