Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄應用科技大學 === 工業工程與管理系碩士班 === 96 === This study utilizes the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA), extracting three major Taiwanese private telecommunication companies as the samples. The operating cost and the number of employees are the input variables. The operating income and the earnings per share are the output variables. Under models of constant return to scale (CRS) and variable return to scale (VRS), using output-oriented by DEAP Version 2.1 software several feedback operations to measure each company comparative efficiency based on the second date from 2003 to 2007, as well as actual comparison to evaluate telecommunication operating efficiency in recent five years by using Window analysis method、Malmquist productivity index (MPI) and slack analysis method. In order to optimize operation efficiency for manager to make strategic decision, this study is analyzing operation efficiency by adjusting operating cost and comparing operating income of each telecommunication company to conclude a most efficient model for inefficient company reference.
