The Research on the Satisfaction for the Summer Swimming Camp of the Public Schools—An Example of FengShan Vocational High School

碩士 === 國立高雄應用科技大學 === 工業工程與管理系碩士班 === 96 === The current study is concerned mainly with the satisfaction for the members who joined in the summer swimming camp of the public schools. The target sample is the members who joined the summer swimming camp of FengShan vocational high school dated from 9 July to 17 August 2007. The questionnaires are used to survey the sample. There are 240 members in total but we sent 207 copies. After deleting 10 copies, the effective copies are 197 and the effective return rate is 95.1%. The main findings in the current study are as follows. First, most members who joined this camp are students from neighboring community elementary schools, junior high schools, and high schools. The reasons for them to choose this camp are mainly the nice surroundings, the place near their homes, and the cheap price. Another important factor is the reputation of the school. Second, the order in the five constructs influencing satisfaction is “care and interaction”, “contents of the course”, “whole image”, “administration service”, and “environment and facilities”. Third, the five factors are all statistically significant in influencing the satisfaction for the members with different gender, age, and status. Finally, the factor that significantly influences repurchase behavior is “environment and facilities”. This indicates that “environment and facilities” is an important factor. However, the factors introducing relatives and friends to join the activities are insignificant. Nonetheless, the factors of “environment and facilities” and “care and interaction” cannot be neglected since they can attract more members to take part in this kind of activities.
