| Summary: | 碩士 === 崑山科技大學 === 電機工程研究所 === 96 === The design and function of roadway lightings is one concern of vehicle driving safety and the social security in the night. Based on short circuit fault reasons causing the outage of roadway lighting, this paper presents four maintenance methods, including separate detecting, series fuse (or NFB) detecting, group lighting alternating supply detecting and applying projection lamp detecting, and via the aspects of economics and man-power usage to obtain the optimal one. According to the data analysis shown in this paper, the method of applying projection lamp detecting used currently is the best regarding to working safety, time saving, the accuracy of fault location detecting and the cost benefit.
