Description
Summary:碩士 === 崑山科技大學 === 電子工程研究所 === 96 === Nowadays, with the electronic technology progress and the shortage of energy, the dimmable electronic ballast could be used as a energy saving device for the lighting industry and to substitute the traditional electromagnetic ballast. The electronic ballast uses the semiconductor device as the active drive unit and the high-frequency operation to achieve the high efficiency and the reduced volume merit. In addition, electronic ballast could be cooperated with the single chip microcomputer to realize the user-friendly control function and dimming function. In this research, traditional technology of the phase angle adjust for the power source by the TRIAC device was used to do the dimming of the fluorescent lamp not only to improve the convenience of the electronic ballast application but also to regard the stability of the dimmable lighting source and the life of the dimmable fluorescent lamp and to conduct the experimental study for these two topics so as to expect to design and implement a stable and higher efficiency electronic ballast. The function of this proposed circuit system is to control the phase angle of the input power source by the TRIAC circuit and to dim the fluorescent lamp by the high frequency boost circuit. The circuitry is composed of the bridge-type rectifier, the filter capacitor and the TRIAC circuit to form the AC/DC converter. The zero-crossing signal is input to the single chip microcomputer to do the phase angle control. The half-bridge type resonant converter is composed of two high-voltage MOSFET to used as the DC/AC converter at fixed frequency and duty cycle to drive the T25-15W fluorescent lamp to realize the stable dimming control. As the result of the experimental test shown, this proposed dimming technology with the traditional TRIAC device can achieve the stable dimming of the fluorescent lamp and can be used conveniently.
