Description
Summary:碩士 === 開南大學 === 資訊及電子商務學系 === 96 === The Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) method has been used as a theoretical foundation to study the feasibility of strategical alliance between different IT equipment manufacturer. 15 listed companies have been chosen as the Decision Making Unit (DMU). The inventory turnover ratio, total asset turnover ratio, and accounts receivable turnover ratio have been specified as input variables of the DEA model, while the net profit margin, return on assets and return on equity have been assigned as the output variables. The combined efficiency of Taiwan mobile and other listed companies have been calculated, and used as an index to determine the optimal candidate for the strategical alliance. The analysis results indicate that the Tailyn would be the optimal candidate for Taiwan mobile when considering the strategic alliance parter.
