From the other hand, other researchers also argued that the PC is employee’s perception of promises from his/her employer. To get to the bottom of this argument, the purpose of the study was to reveal the content and context of PC. The study sampled 212 workers from a manufacturing company and investigated their expectations toward job, the perception of how much promise they had received from their employers, and the tendencies of their work behaviors. The results indicated that employee’s work behaviors were related to both employee’s expectations and employer’s promises. It also showed that such relationships were moderated by each other. It is concluded that employee’s PC should includes view points from both expectation and promise. The contents of employee’s PC are the results of the interaction between expectation and promise. The study not only reinforces the gaps in theoretical basis of the psychological contract on constructing factors but also provides business sectors for recommendations on recruitment and labour relations. However, the study sample only contains participants from a single company in order to control promise variations, the results may not be generalized. It is suggested that follow-up studies may use a wilder sampling techniques and other research method to verify the results. Fu Chi-jung 傅啟榮 2008 學位論文 ; thesis 79 zh-TW
