Description
Summary:碩士 === 高雄醫學大學 === 藥學研究所碩士在職專班 === 96 === The recent, serum cholesterol concentration was considered of the correlation with major depressive disorders. The analysis of the application of a reagent-removable derivatization by liquid chromatography was used to analyse the cholesterol concentration of dandruff in general group and patient group with major depression disorder (MDD). The subjects were separated to general and MDD groups, including 42 and 31 persons. The rates of sex (male/female) were 11/31 and 10/21. The mean values of age were 40.2 and 44.5 years old. The statistics was no signification. The analysis result showed that the mean values ± standard deviation of cholesterol concentration of dandruff in general and MDD groups were 2.2±0.8% and 1.9±0.5%. The result was statistically different (p<0.05). The CGIs and CGIi scales of MDD group were distributed in 3-5 and 2-5. By the result, the value of cholesterol concentration in patients with major depressive disorder was significantly lower than in general persons. The difference of the cholesterol concentration of human dandruff may be used to be a biological marker for the clinic diagnosis of major depressive disorder.
