According to different needs of computer calculation, we need to develop different description of building cracks. We use wavelet transforms (WT) to get four different frequency figure, and all have different description. In Low-Low frequency figure, we keep most part of figure information, so we can use it for further level of building crack description. And Low-High figure, we can take it as a representation of volume and for advanced usage. Although we try brightness and contract to adjust original figure , we still lost some important pixels of main crack. So we go for the morphology, get the perfect way of filtering noise pixels. Then, we take the improved figure to WT and the result is good . We can get more level of building crack description.
