Summary: | 碩士 === 義守大學 === 電機工程學系碩士班 === 96 === In this thesis, the spectrum of transmission and reflection for the fiber Bragg gratings are measured and analyzed. Moreover, in our measurement, this is the first experimental result to confirm the property of radiation of second order fiber Bragg gratings. The tunable laser testing system and the beam profile are used for the measurement in this study, where the tunable laser testing system can measure the spectra of fiber Bragg gratings, and the beam profile can detect the 2D and 3D view of far field pattern. The maximum radiation power of -61.2dBm occurs in the middle of fiber Bragg gratings with the wavelength of 1539.4 nm. By using the beam profile, the maximum radiation power of 0.015mW is measured in the same region of fiber Bragg gratings. The 2D view of far field is close to ellipse, while the 3D view of far filed is like Gaussian distribution.
