Summary:碩士 === 義守大學 === 資訊管理學系碩士班 === 96 === The purpose of this research is to build a standard as a reference for elementary schools to select information technology(IT)education textbook. In order to achieve the research goal, the researcher, based on documentary analysis of the criteria of elementary schools textbook selection and information technology education courses, makes self-written questionnaires about “The questionnaires of the criteria of selecting the information technology education textbook for the elementary schools.” The population of this survey was public elementary school information technology team leaders or teachers in Kaohsiung area. The efficient experts‘examples are 44. The research model is based the data analysis which was conducted through Analytic Hierarchy Process Method and Expert choice 2000. This research categorizes the evaluation of elementary school IT education textbook into 4 attributes and 24 evaluation indicators. The research results show that elementary school teachers value the "Content Attribute" the most, followed by the "Teaching Attribute", "Physical Attribute", and "Publishing Attribute". Among all the elementary school IT textbook evaluation indicators, IT teachers value the following the most: "Text content matching today''s IT development and trends", "Text organization structure being continual, and taking into account students'' previously required knowledge or skills", and "Text content mainly using daily life experiences, with assistance of other areas of learning". This research shows that when it comes to selecting teaching material, in addition to considering whether the content is suitable for the rapidly growing IT society, elementary school IT teachers also hope that students can apply what they learn in everyday life. They would also like to extend the IT education from being only a learning goal to a tool for learning other disciplines. Finally, according to the results of the research, it can propose suggestions of information technology education textbook selection for elementary schools. It can be also a tool for elementary schools teachers to select textbook and suggestions for future study were provided.
