Summary:碩士 === 義守大學 === 資訊工程學系碩士班 === 96 === As the release of Std. IEEE 802.16e, Fixed WiMAX plus supporting for power saving and mobility, called Mobility WiMAX. Handover procedure is necessary for mobility, users won’t lose service when they across serving BS’s area to another BS’s area. The handover delay is the key of mobility. Recently, many discussions concentrate on how to reduce the handover latency. FNEMO algorithm provides a fast handover scheme in Mobility WiMAX system, using HA(Home Agent) to substitute PAR(Previous Access Router) to achieve across layer handover for reducing latency. LT algorithm uses CoA list to simplify DAD procedure for reducing latency. We utilize the method provided by LT algorithm to simplify DAD procedure of fast handover algorithm in WiMAX system. Our enhanced fast handover scheme will get better performance of handover latency than FNEMO algorithm.
