Description
Summary:碩士 === 義守大學 === 管理研究所碩士班 === 96 === Abstract At the end of the 1970s, due to the prompting of the ecological theory and the research of Child Development psychologist Bronfenbrenner, it is believed that individuals do not just exist singularly, but are influenced by their immediate environment, while the immediate environment is simultaneously influenced by the individuals’ unique characteristics; thus the development of humans is promoted under such circumstances, where the individual is continually in communication with the environment. Therefore, if research must be conducted on individuals, whether they are adults or children, the immediate environment must be included, as it is the best representative of all immediate environments.。 Media affects people in the same way: it causes changes in the lifestyle and habits of ordinary people. Media includes televisions, newspapers, magazines, etc. Families have an immense impact on the development and conduct of children , and televisions have by far become a monumental member of a family. Thus the aim and hypothesis of this research is to investigate the impact of television on the family and individual. Four hundred and forty fifth and sixth grade students were randomly selected as research subjects to fill out questionnaires. Four hundred and ten questionnaires were recollected, and the percentage of valid samples is 93.2%. Conclusions and suggestions:1. fifth and sixth graders spend most of their time on computers and televisions, affecting studies and reading time. 2. Parents should monitor their children’s viewing habits and select appropriate television shows. Parents should also listen and respond to their children’s requests and questions, to decrease the negative impact of televisions and computers on them. 3.The television show“I love Blackie”shows significant relationship with the fifth and sixth grade student’s gender, age, and living conditions.
