Summary:碩士 === 義守大學 === 管理研究所碩士班 === 96 === The objective of this present research endeavors to analyze the job satisfaction of the Republic of China (ROC) special force personnel. Through the concise introduction of ROC special force, the role explication of the ROC special force, its functions as well as its value, this research seeks to, firstly, dissect difficulties inherent in the organizational structure as well as its management, and secondly, the job satisfaction of the force personnel. For purpose of future reform efforts, recommendations will be given in accordance with this present research results. The research employs the methodology of questionnaire survey, with a selected unit of the special force stationed in southern Taiwan as the source of simple random sampling pool. In total, 350 questionnaires were issued, all were completed and collected. After elimination of unusable sample questionnaires, there remained 329 usable samples, or 94% of all collected, that were to be categorized and analyzed using SPSS12.0. The research hypothesis was varified using sample confidence level, variable means, and sample authenticity. Furthermore explanation of the results and discussion of personnel job satisfaction were also made. This research has the following core findings: (a)As far as the overall level of job satisfaction of the special force personnel is concerned, the survey result indicates medium-high level; this shows that the working environment meets the requirement of special force personnel. (b)As far as the correlation between age groups and the level of job satisfaction is concerned, married field-grade troop-leading special force officers with 31-35 years of age and 11-15 yeard of service experience demonstrate the highest level of job satisfaction. According to the findings concluded, the following recommendations were proposed: (a)Create quality working environment to serve as motivation of accomplishment for junior members , and to strengthen the foundation of unit coherence. (b)Promote continued practice of unit traditions, and enhance experience accumulation. (c)Establish education plan and performance assessment criteria to promote overall quality of unit personnel.
