The internal alchemy Dao is based on the traditional Chinese regimen to achieve the purposes of "curing and eliminating diseases", "having more rests but fewer diseases", "extending life through peacefulness and happiness", "manifesting Dao", "attaining Dao ", and "unifying with Dao as one " through internal practices. Chung and Lu are the key persons who set the fashion of internal alchemy Dao practice in China. According to Chung and Lu's alchemizing methods, human being is the product under the operation of Dao. "Dao" begets one Qi from which Yin Qi and Yang Qi are derived, then Yin Qi and Yang Qi are poured together as true water and vapor and condensed as the Spirit (Shen), thus becoming five elements (Wu Xing). Gradually these five elements form the body and mind of human being; and humans’ round head and square feet look like the phenomenon of Earth and Heaven. For this reason, man models himself after Earth and Heaven, practicing alchemizing methods in line with the time, step by step, and in a reverse direction to return to "Dao", and thus enjoys the same life that Earth and Heaven have. Chung and Lu's alchemizing methods are divided as follows: I, The Hinayana dhama-gate of extending life through peacefulness and happiness includes " matching Yin and Yang", " separating and reunifying water and fire", "the coition of dragon and tiger", "burning the alchemical substances to make Elixir"; II, The Mid-yana Immortality dhama-gate includes "Daoist reverse breathing exercise for Gold Dan (jindan )", " Daoist reverse breathing exercise for the swallow of saliva (yiye huandan) ", " Daoist reverse breathing exercise for the swallow of the yiye formed by lung fluid ", " Daoist reverse breathing exercise for the swallow of jinye (huandan)", and " Daoist reverse breathing exercise for the swallow of the jinye formed by lung fluid "; III, The Mahayana mundane human-sainted sage dhama-gate includes "Jhao Yuan breathing exercise ", " Exchange of Vipassana ", and "Transcending to be able to have separate shapes". This paper takes the Hinayana dhama-gate of extending life through peacefulness and happiness as the motif. Chung and Lu's alchemizing methods put top emphasis on " practicing alchemizing methods in line with the time and step by step ", and avoid inappropriate date and time. But in the modern society, this is really easier said than done. Always tied up with tight daily schedules, few people can do that. Therefore this study lists some " easy to make " side tricks to help those who are interested in learning Neidan to achieve "curing and eliminating diseases", "having more rests but fewer diseases", and "extending life through peacefulness and happiness" through internal training. As any prior preparation is key to success and the direction and discipline taken determine the magnitude of that success, this paper sets forth "cultivating the mind through contentment" as the top requirement for preparation, "from dynamic to static" as the right direction, "persistent and disciplined" and "hard work can make up for lack of talent" as the guarantee for success and "following a regular pattern" as the guarantee for safety. 碩士 === 玄奘大學 === 宗教學系碩士在職專班 === 96 === "Longevity and Happiness" are the highest common goals pursued by human being, and "life loving and death hating" are always and everywhere the unchanged laws.
