Summary:碩士 === 玄奘大學 === 中國語文學系碩士在職專班 === 96 === It is always the true feelings in the artworks of war and literature that touch human hearts. In the history of Chinese literature, Zouzhuan was one of the best classical essays in Pri-Qin period in studying the battles and literature of Chunqiu times. It infused with the Book of Songs and Shiji, and passed judgments by implied meanings while chronicling events. It was the ideal for all the successors in writing narratives. The book recorded battles from different point of views with vivid descriptions and characteristics. Many of the viewpoints are valuable to military experts. Therefore the thesis focuses the battles of Huengshui between kingdoms of Song and Chu, the battles of Chengpu and the battle of Yenling between kingdoms of Jin and Chu, which were the three most representative and characteristic major battles among some several hundred battles recorded in the book. They were significant because the hegemony in Chunqin then shifted into a new and fast changing era. The methodologies of literature analysis, theory analysis as well as tables and figures with maps were applied in the study. The study tries to find out what and why wars? What were the strategies and tactics in the wars? What were the gains and losses of them? The study aims to find out some rules and regulations in war development and its literature expression in the writings. On the significance of the wars: Politically, the nationalism of Chinese people was condensed to differentiate between Chinese and the barbarians in the south and the north of China. Militarily, the art of war was about the military strategies, tactics and techniques, and the rise and development of armaments, as well as the promotion on the prosperous of industry and commerce. There were exceptionally advanced evolution, creation and improvements on military systems, armaments, orders, up to strategies, tactics, and arms. In the mean time, it was the time the geography strategy emerged, and the Grand Strategy, too. As for the literature and art expression in the war affairs, in the rhetoric of wars, styles and characteristics and the molding of the battlefield-figures, it reached a high accomplishment, the essay still actively alive in these present days. With a large amount of rhetorical elements, it demonstrated the masculine, concise, alert, vivid, and agile of wars. As for the figures in battlefields, though there were many, whether they were negative or positive figures, each of them had its own spirit and the vivid descriptions were so successful that they became the paragon of marshal spirits.
