Yayue dance gradually dwindled and lost in the Qing Dynasty. Yayue dance art education has its complete educational thinking and unique function which fully embodies the Confucian spirit. In face of this valuable cultural heritage, this researcher hopes to make contribution to preserving the traditional Chinese culture of Yayue dance. This research is divided into six chapters. Aside from Chapter One Introduction and Chapter Six Conclusion, they are respectively Chapter Two What is Confucian Yayue Dance giving an overview of the Confucian Yayue Dance. Chapter Three Body Thinking as connoted in the Confucian Yayue dance—with philosophy as the axis, explores the body thinking of the Confucian Yayue dance with the core of stressing the relation between Ya of Yayue dance and He of Confucian philosophy. Chapter Four On Aestheticism of the Dancing Art of Confucian Yayue Dance—with aesthetics as the axis to explore how harmony of Confucian culture affects the style and feature of Yayue dance. Chapter Five Reflections on the Essence of Art Education of Confucian Yayue Dance—with art education as the axis to explore the Yayue dance art education essence is the harmony education philosophy. This research uses documentary analysis, interpretation method and comparative dialectics to expound on the issues of three main axles of the body, aesthetics and art education. The purpose is to provide future Yayue dance art education researchers or workers as a basis of reference and also provide guidance to determination of rational Yayue dance educational concept through different thinking analysis of the current Confucian Yayue dance art education.
