It searches the components of the product which can integrate with each other through the systematical examination. These components are so-called Feasible Components Integration Sets (FCISs) (Chou, 2002, 2003), and results in it single material component and still satisfy the corresponding requirements of the original components..
However, the relevant studies now do not clearly indicate about by which method to integrate FCISs. FCISs do not reveal the message of how to integrate neither.Therefore, the study intends to develop an Innovation Thinking Process to enhance designers’ integration ability when integrate FCISs. The thinking process of this study is constructed by various instruments of TRIZ. The first step is to change the format of FCIS by using this process, and then FCIS can be input into the thinking process. The second step is analyzing FCIS by using SuField model and innovation principals individually, the thinking of integrate component results from the analyzing process could be the reference for users of component integration.
