碩士 === 輔仁大學 === 國際創業與經營管理學程碩士在職專班 === 98 === This research aims at exploring the usefulness of decision support tool to facilitate decision-making (DM) on engineering change or product change, this research applies decision support (DS) on engineering change management (ECM) thru implementing a decision support system for case company. The literature regarding engineering change, engineering change management, decision making process, decision support and decision had been reviewed to find out the inter-relation among those research topics to justify the research subject and motivation are worthy of efforts on in-depth studying. Due to the fact that decision makers need to tackle complex process and concerns from internal or external stakeholders in terms of decision-making on engineering change, analytic hierarchy process (AHP), that fits for the requirements to cope with multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM), is thus employed in this regard. In addition, a handy AHP tool, Expert Choice, has been adopted to assist decision making with respect to its ease of use and capability to confront problems in product changes that in need of accurate decisions in the first place whenever requests on design change being input.
