| Summary: | 碩士 === 輔仁大學 === 餐旅管理學系碩士班 === 96 === This research aims to investigate the the relationship among personality hardiness, social skills, social support and life adjustment of hospitality department students. This research is targeted 271 students who major in the hospitality field.
The data capture instrument was questionnaire designed. The content of the questionnaire consists of the personal data, personality hardiness scale, social skills scale, social support quantitative scale, personal-emotional adjustment scale and social adjustment scale with the use of descriptive statistics analysis, confirmatory factor analysis(CFA) and structural equation modeling(SEM).
According to the main findings, the results of the research are summarized as the following:
1. There is a significant positive effect between personality hardiness and life adjustment of hospitality department students.
2. There is a significant positive effect between social skills and social adjustment, but not affect personal-emotional adjustment of hospitality department students.
3. Both personality hardiness and social skills can affect social support positively.
4. Social support can affect life adjustment of hospitality department students positively.
With the above research results, this study offers some specific suggestions to the related authorities as reference.
