The potentiality of banquet service is expected, so banquet halls need a large number of staff for food preparation and service. Because of job characteristics of banquet hall, employees of banquet hall stand job overloading, and they also face role stress and inharmonious relationship with other staff, which are job stressors of employees of banquet halls. When employees can’t release their job stress, they will feel burnout. Burnout not only effects employees’ physiology and psychology, but also increases employees’ turnover intention. Therefore this study examined the relationships of employees in the banquet hall of international tourist hotels on job stress, burnout, and turnover intention. The past references indicated that social support can reduce overloading stress, so social support was a moderator in job stress and turnover intention. The questionnaire survey method was used to collect data. The questionnaire was created by scholars and in-depth interview with supervisors of international tourist hotels. The samples of this study were employees who work in the banquet hall of international tourist hotels. A total of 600 questionnaires were distributed to employees working in banquet hall of international tourist hotels, and 363 questionnaires were received. Discarding the incomplete questionnaires, 334 questionnaires were available. The results indicated that:1. There were positive correlations between job stress (including job overload, role conflict, role ambiguity, and inharmonious relationship) and burnout. 2. There were positive correlations between burnout and turnover intention. 3. There were positive correlations between job stress (including job overload, role conflict, and inharmonious relationship) and turnover intention. 4. Social support had moderation effect on the relationship between role conflict, role ambiguity, inharmonious relationship and turnover intention.
