Summary: | 碩士 === 輔仁大學 === 教育領導與發展研究所 === 96 === The main purpose of this research is to investigate a private comprehensive university on its organizational change and developing process. Qualitative research approach method was employed to complete this study. Through document analysis and interview, the researcher was intended to explore the following problems:
1.To explore the genesis of the integration of school administration and understand in what kind of opportunity and interference with environmental change cause the attitude about operation of school administrative organization changed.
2.Probe and describe the developing process and interaction relation of field that the integration of school administration with the new science paradigm views.
3.Discuss the important incidents happened before and after the integration of school administration, the transition of organizational culture and climate after integration, and essence of organizational life and its developing directions.
Through the perspective of new scientific system evolution, the process of an organizational system transits from an old state to a new one is not a smooth and continuous linear development, because an organizational system will interact within its internal functions and with its external environment. Therefore, it will have a similar spiral type of non-linear development way in the developing process. As for this view, the integrated process of school administration is different from the general organizational change. Thus, the researcher tries to explain the integrated process of the case through the viewpoint of “new science”.
After the thorough study to this university on its organizational change and developing process, the results of the research are as follows:
1.The motive of changing is from the internal and external stimulating of school. As for external factor, it is due to the change of the great environment and university evaluations. As for internal factor, because of receiving stimulating from external environment, the interior of university starts self-inspection mechanism spontaneously.
2.The organizational change creates a new relation in the field. No matter it is a reorganization of interior organizational structure, or an authoritative transfer of school administration. It truly has help to formulate and develop the whole school after school administration. Moreover, it creates more abundant and multiple communication and cooperation opportunities inside the organization.
3.Organizational development reflects the process of self-organization in its life system. According to the internal thought and self-reference ability, the university reflects the environment pressure and selects to recreate itself by a finer reorganization way.
Guide the strength of organizational development. It seems abyss and disorder during the organizational developing process in the university, but it has a stable strength to prompt the university become an ordered organizational structure type. And, this strength is the goal and the mission that the case university exists, and it is also the spirit of the organization’s core essence.
