| Summary: | 碩士 === 輔仁大學 === 體育學系碩士班 === 96 === The purpose of study is to have a greater understandung of Taekwondo techniques used by Wu Jing Yu and how he scores his points in each of the four matches in the World Taekwondo Championships of 2007. The understanding of the attack styles and strategies used by him provide valuable information for the coaches and athletes for their future training and for competieions.
Through watching the video of the competition, we have analyzed and quantized the attacking styles into different categories based on active and passive actions of foot position(left and right, back and forwards) and coordination, seven attacking styles, score and effective score frequency. We also provide a detailed description about each technique.
The conclusions of the study are:
1. Turning kick is the major attacking style. It has highest attack frequency and effective score;
2. Kicking using right forward leg has the highest frequency;
3. Under active move Attackers use higher Under passsive move Attackers;
4. Wu Jing Yu usually has right foot forward as her attack style;
5. Frequency effective score is turning kick, downward kick;
6. The frequency of attack is the highest in the second round;
7. The score form the third round is the highest among the three rounds;
8. Wu Jing Yu is good at high kicking attack and these attack style is believed to be his key of success.
