Description
Summary:碩士 === 輔仁大學 === 電子工程學系 === 96 === The DC to DC buck converter is the most popular design for supporting low voltage, high current applications. Its high power efficiency and power savings make this approach increasingly more important in real world applications. The market is demanding compact sized, mobile, powerful functioning devices. The power requirement has become greater while the designed power unit remains the same or becomes smaller than before. The buck converter is now required to manage more power while occupying a smaller space with in increasingly smaller devices. These new demands are pushing the buck converter to higher operational frequencies, while presenting new problems such as greater switching loss and noise issues. Therefore, current power supply designs are adopting the new power devices such as the integrated power switch to improve high power density and high operational frequency performance. My research is focused on evaluating the radiated emission performance effectiveness of the discrete and integrated power switches in a DC to Dc buck converter.
