This thesis is based on the test of alternating current 220V, 150 watt, 2 pole's motor, adopted with different capacitance value of the different running capacity, and comparative analyze the biggest torque magnitude of current and the efficiency value. the result is, the capacitance value and the current value assume the positive correlation, presents the non- positive correlation with the efficiency, the torque. So the running capacitor of permanent split-capacitor motor changes capacitance value, and the current also. But the efficiency is a non- positive correlation along with the capacitance value. Accordingly, selecting the proper running capacitor value and capacitance value of run capacity is a very important issue for single-phase induction motor’s efficiency. Hope through the study, we can have further understanding toward the effects of running capacitor capacitance value brings to single-phase induction motor’s performance.
